Murray L. Weidenbaum, Economic Advisor & Partner
Dr. Weidenbaum is one of America's most widely publicized economists. He holds the Mallinckrodt Distinguished University Professorship at Washington University, where he also serves as honorary chairman of the Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy. From January 1981 to August 1982, he chaired President Reagan's Council of Economic Advisors.
Dr. Weidenbaum has written nine books and numerous articles for such major publications as Fortune and The Wall Street Journal. He has served in the past on the boards of Beatrice Food, Contel, May Department Stores, Medicine Shoppe, and Tesoro Petroleum. He is currently a board member of Harbour Group, where he chairs the committee on Economics and Finance.
A graduate of the City College of New York, Dr. Weidenbaum received his M.A. from Columbia University and his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
